A song about letting go of the people/things we have lost in this life.
Dedicated to the memory of Graham Brooks. Thanks to Cindy Brooks for providing her beautiful artwork as the cover art for the song.
I wrote this song in May of last year after saying goodbye to my four legged buddy. The version I released at that time was rough, as it was my first recording in my studio, but necessary for me to get out. With compassionate encouragement from others and having learned a thing or two, I have re-recorded this song, allowing the song to tell it’s own story.
The video honours the treasured memories as they fade away.
Whether you like the song or not, I wish everyone a blessed moment when they look back on those we’ve lost and loved.
